This practice is designed to help you stretch connective tissue around the joints (ex. the knees, pelvis, sacrum, and spine). Yin yoga is a passive healing practice. It involves holding postures for 3 to 5 minutes, accessing deeper layers of fascia, connective tissues of the body, with the rhythm of the breath and cultivating a meditative mind.
